"Kennywood's King of the Coasters"
Drawn by the anticipation of Kennywood's unleashed
excitement, you walk along tree-lined pathways to the far reaches
of the park for a thrilling encounter with "Kennywood's
King of the Coasters," the Thunderbolt.
Once seated, you swiftly careen down the wooden track,
not stopping nor wanting to stop. Catching sight of your friends
below you want to wave, but they are just a blur as you scream
past them toward a 90 foot drop into a ravine.
Collecting yourself, you meet your friends for a taste
of Kennywood at The Potato Patch, affectionately referred to
by some as "their favorite ride." The lip smacking,
finger-licking taste of cheese, salt and potatoes makes this
and a corn dog a Kennywood tradition.
As night falls and the glowing lights of Kennywood
brighten the evening, your day is complete with memories that
will linger as you recall to others your electrifying ride on
the Thunderbolt, "Kennywood's King of the Coasters."
